Letter from the Athletic Director
I am pleased to introduce the Mustangs Athletics Booster Club (ABC). When I arrived at Rancho 11 years ago, we set a goal to build a strong booster club that would support our outstanding student-athletes and our programs. Thanks to the hard work and support of the Rancho Solano PTO and current ABC Board Members Kyle Robertson, Nicole Goldberg, and Michelle Boncel, the Booster Club is stronger than ever! It is the vision of the ABC to foster our Rancho Solano pride through the development of our athletic programs. Our athletic department is committed to developing student-athletes of high character. With the support of the ABC, we will be able to provide an unparalleled experience for all of our student-athletes. We are fortunate to have the best students and parents in Arizona at Rancho Solano Prep, and I look forward to growing the relationships between our families and our athletics programs. Together we can build the best athletic programs in Arizona and create a memorable school experience for our students!
Go Mustangs! - Coach Aaron Trigg

Athletic Booster Club
Mission Statement
To produce an environment that inspires student athletes, coaches, parents and the community to collectively create a positive and spirited atmosphere for all athletic programs. Our desire is to build strong moral character and academic excellence in the student athletes while seeking to raise funds for Mustangs school athletics.
Kyle Robertson
Athletic Booster Club President
Collette, 6th Grade, Cameron, 4th Grade
Kyle’s family is fully invested in Rancho; his wife, Jessica, is currently teaches middle school math, serving the Rancho community for her 8th year, and their two children, Collette and Cameron, have attended Rancho since Pre-K 3 and Pre-K2 respectively.
Kyle has been an active participant in the Rancho community by fulfilling volunteer opportunities including the role of room parent, joining PTO meetings, and showing up on campus to support school performances, parties, and events.
As he noticed the PTO needing assistance, Kyle took an active role in assisting the PTO and consistently meeting with leadership to enhance and refine the PTO initiatives. As roles were defined and missions solidified, Kyle decided to join the running for the PTO position that best supported the Rancho community.
Kyle’s background in the financial services industry and management has helped to refine the skillset he brings to the Rancho PTO table. He has held various positions within the financial services industry for the past 17 years. Within his roles, he is known for his versatility, attention to detail, technology know-how, relationship-building skills, and he has a knack for communicating complex topics in clear terms. Kyle is currently a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, and a Managing Director where he plays a vital role on the Jackson/Roskelley Wealth Advisors Executive Team.
Staying involved in the community is a priority for Kyle, a third-generation native Arizonan. He enjoys his family time and can be found coaching his son’s flag football team, watching the Dallas Cowboys, traveling, hiking, and searching for new trails when off-roading.
Kyle is keen to Grow Together as a strong Rancho community. He looks forward to connecting with families and fostering a supportive community. His focus is maintaining the committee’s mission which he has branded as the “Five C’s”: Communication, Community, Clarity, Charitable and Commitment.

Michelle Boncel

Nicky, 9th Grade, Samantha, 7th Grade
My name is Michelle Boncel, and I am serving as this year’s Treasurer for both the PTO, Inc. and the Athletic Booster Club. My son Nicky is on the JV basketball team this year, and Sammi has played volleyball for several seasons at Rancho and is currently on the cross-country team.
In addition to being a mom, I graduated from Florida State University with my undergraduate degree, and also hold a Masters of Accounting from the University of West Florida. I have been a CPA for 20+ years, and manage my own accounting and tax practice. I love to travel and entertain with loved ones.
I am grateful to be able to work with such an exceptional community of parents and teachers – GO MUSTANGS!

Nicole Goldberg
Athletic Booster Club Vice President
Brody - 11th grade, Blake - 8th grade
My name is Nicole Goldberg, and this is my 11th year as a parent at Rancho Solano. During my time here, I have held various volunteer roles including room parent, grade rep, new family ambassador, book fair committee, and PAC member. My son Brody is a high school junior, and my son Blake is an 8th grader. Both of them play basketball for Rancho, which is what led me to work with the Athletic Booster Club.
I was born and raised in Connecticut, where I worked in the corporate travel industry for American Express, managing the planning of events and conventions for major corporations. After moving to AZ, I started a career in real estate where I worked in sales, as well as serving as the marketing director for a luxury real estate firm specializing in golf properties. With over 22 years experience in the Scottsdale real estate market, my husband and I now focus on real estate investing, which has included fix and flips, apartments, and other exciting ventures. My work experience relates to all aspects of sales and marketing, and I love anything to do with planning and organizing. I am excited to use these skills to help promote and fundraise for the Athletic Booster Club at Rancho Solano! I love the Rancho Solano community, and I feel blessed to have my children attend a school with such amazing teachers, coaches, students, and parents. Go Mustangs!
